Description:
LAG Umeringo comes directly from the heart of the “Legendary Akaushi” breeding program in the USA. He has the outstanding Akaushi bull Dai 10 Mitsumaru three times in his pedigree – via the bulls Hikari and Big Al and the outstanding cow Kaedemaru. On his dam's side, Ringo also appears in the pedigree, who is descended from the legendary Japanese cow Dai 8 Marunami.
The dam Tama comes directly from the herd of renowned breeder Simon Coates, one of the pioneers of Wagyu breeding in Australia (Sumo Cattle). Tama's pedigree includes Tamamaru on his sire side, who is descended from the legendary Japanese cow Dai 8 Marunami. This is also present in the pedigree via TWA Musume. Furthermore, Big AL is present twice, who has a very special quality through his mother Akiko – she is considered one of the best Akaushi cows from Japan.
Such a mating is unparalleled in its range of top sires and dams. LAG Umeringo's semen is very rare in Europe. So this is a real opportunity for Akaushi breeders to acquire top genetics.
