Description:
LAG Umeringo comes directly from the heart of the “Legendary Akaushi” breeding program in the USA. He has the outstanding Akaushi bull Dai 10 Mitsumaru three times in his pedigree – via the bulls Hikari and Big Al and the outstanding cow Kaedemaru. On his dam's side, Ringo also appears in the pedigree, who is descended from the legendary Japanese cow Dai 8 Marunami.
The dam Tamashu is one of the best daughters of Sumo Cattle Seisakushu, which comes from the well-known breeder Simon Coates, one of the pioneers of Wagyu breeding in Australia. Hikari can be found in Seisakushu's pedigree, and Shigemaru and the aforementioned legendary Japanese cow Dai 8 Marunami are added to the pedigree via the dam TWA Onesan. Tamamaru and Big Al are then added to the pedigree via Tamashu's dam. Big Al in particular has a very special quality thanks to his dam Akiko, who is considered one of the best Akaushi cows in Japan.
Such a mating is unparalleled in its range of top sires. LAG Umeringo's semen is very rare in Europe. So this is a real opportunity for Akaushi breeders to acquire top genetics.
